The first post on the rebuilt site: what changed, and why the stack is Next.js 16 with Sanity.
This site was rebuilt from an empty create-next-app. Everything you read here comes from Sanity and is rendered by Next.js.
What is in the stack#
- Next.js 16 with Cache Components
- Sanity with an embedded Studio at /studio
- Tailwind CSS v4 and shadcn/ui
Fetching content#
Queries are written with defineQuery so TypeGen can type the results:
